Kolby Knight’s journey into photography happened by chance when he was placed in a high school photography class where he quickly discovered his love for the craft. Growing up in rural northern Maine, he developed a deep appreciation for nature and location-based storytelling. Surrounded by beautiful, ever-changing landscapes, he learned how to adapt and work in unpredictable environments. Kolby's unique ability to blend subjects seamlessly with their surroundings has become a signature. His photography captures moments with both technical precision and a sense of organic beauty, bringing depth and authenticity to every scene.

After a few years of working with clients and publications throughout the Northeast, Kolby made the move to NYC where he has continued to refine his vision. His style blends storytelling, escapism, and whimsy through a timeless cinematic lens.
